house of new realities

House of New Realities is a pop-up museum, a collective artwork, and an experimental space exploring visions of a peaceful, creative, and sustainable future. It brings together diverse perspectives and projects that engage with fundamental questions of how we want to live, work, and coexist. Through installations and shared experiences, the project makes social, cultural, and ecological issues tangible and open for discussion.

my contribution

I made this documentary film for the project, which is close to my heart — capturing not just the incredible outcomes, but processes, people, and atmosphere.

The whole project House of New Realities was created by the theatre collective Bluespots Productions, which I’m part of. You can still explore the House online.

my VR installation

I created an immersive installation focused on urban cycling in Augsburg. At the center of my room, a fixed city bike invites visitors to sit down, put on a VR headset, and experience the city from a cyclist’s perspective — moments of calm, nature, and flow, but also chaos, tension, and potential danger. The experience is supported by a 5.1 surround sound setup, extending the virtual environment into the physical space.

Visitors without a headset can follow the same journey through a video projection behind the bicycle. Surrounding walls feature open questions such as “What does cycling mean to you?” and “What have you experienced?” — inviting personal reflection. Many visitors responded directly on the walls, sharing thoughts, stories, and even starting conversations with each other, turning the space into a living exchange of experiences.
